Sunday evening I was alerted that something was wrong in the backyard by my dog. I got up to check the problem only to discover my Basset Hound desperately calling for my help while protecting a 2 week old kitten. 2 days later another kitten was found by Jiggs again. Great! Now what am I to do with 2 kittens barley with their eyes open and no mother cat. 
I was telling my neighbor Charlie Blinson about it and he suggested letting his female Pomeranian take care of them. I couldn't believe my ears. I said "sure" knowing this can't possibly work. See how this worked for yourself. After nursing a dog that has never been pregnant, she has started to give milk. I have seen it with my own eyes.  6/28/01
